Weaned at 18mths, self sleep at 20mths

Just in case i forget, i want to blog this and brag about it, at least for our family, its kinda of a break through to wean her off the breast and drinking formula with the straw cup totally, over 3 days... and

One fine day, i just decided to place her in her own bed in a separate room, she slept fine for afternoon naps, an hr or so, then i started putting her down at night, first 3 nights, she wailed and woke every 2-3 hrs, almost felt like giving up and dying, but in me, i persisted and persevered, looking fwd to a longer term good, and we did it - she slept through ultimately.

The cutest things happened, she would wake in the morning, walked to the kitchen looking for me.. finally, she walked in the rt direction - towards our bedroom, and she knocked on the door... 'ma ma' i couldn't help but jumped off my bed and gave her my sweetest embrace.

Hannah is sweet in so many countless ways, but she has her stubborness too. She's a smart fellow, and tends to take advantage of situation, she can't quit her pointing finger and nasty look towards us yet, with repeated reprimanding, hope she learns.

It's a 'monkey see monkey do' stage now... whatever gor gor does, she does it ... and they play lovingly together often though many quarrels too.

Bronchitis

Oh no, my girl has bronchitis for the first time .. Nathan never had that. Phlem in the lungs??? How terrible. She wasn't even coughing for a long time. It started over a wk end, she had slight cough, then come Monday, her high fever started, 39.5 degree over.. over 3 days. Diagnosed by PD as bronchitis. But I couldn't get the antibiotics down her ... so I'll just have to wait and see if she recovers without it, just on cough syrup.

She's quite her same usual self, sings her songs, plays, only little appetite and sleeps troubles... whenever she lies down, she coughs madly. My poor girl... even seems to have a lack of air when she tries to cough it out and breathes.

God saves my girl.

Arm bands

I was taken by surprise, hannah could float on arm bands alone... She started using arm bands a couple of mths back, say 18mths? I had to cold storage all the pretty ring floats I got her earlier since she's gotten used to arms bands, which costs the least - only $5.90 from kiddy palace. Perhaps she has a live model splashing and kicking about her at the pool, and so she learns how to use them just the same.

She loves to swim, be in the water, and anytime, anyday, she would not hesitate to join us in the water!

And she's a tan babe... many have asked why she's so dark, well, she is mine daughter - like mom, like girl, she'll be a black beauty for sure.
